Galloping Gators! UF Applications Reach New Record

gator dancingI’m not a Gator, but our state is full of them, with thousands more beating on the doors to get in.

Florida Trend reports that “applications to the University of Florida reached a new record this year, with more than 34,000 prospective students vying for admission” in 2017.

That’s an increase of nearly 8 percent over last year.

Applicants have been called “among the most competitive ever,” by UF President Kent Fuchs. The group’s average GPA is 4.4, while its average SAT score is 1349.

Over the years, we’ve observed that more of our clients – including those with considerable financial means – are taking advantage of the excellent state universities, which offer parents and students an unbeatable value coupling top quality with relatively low prices.
