HGTV stars Drew and Jonathan Scott Show How to Redecorate That Empty Nest

HGTV stars Drew and Jonathan Scott redesigned living spaces for three age 50+ couples facing life transitions.

When my kids went off to college, I reveled in having my home back to myself again. One of the first things I did was repaint and redecorate the kids’ rooms to make up for years of wear and tear.

Of course, like many other kids, mine boomeranged back home again, but we all still appreciate the more grown-up decor that replaced sports paraphernalia, school supplies, and rock band posters.

If you have kids moving out, moving in, or maybe a parent coming to live with you, a renovation may be in your future, too.

For inspiration, take a look at the life-changing remodeling projects sponsored by AARP and custom-designed by superstar twins Jonathan and Drew Scott, hosts of HGTV’s Property Brothers, to benefit three age 50+ couples facing major life transitions in Las Vegas, Nashville and Galveston, Texas.
