Quote Of The Week: The Only Failure Is Not Trying

(CNBC MakeIt)

Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd built Bumble into a $7 billion business and made herself a billionaire at age 31 by letting women make the first move when it comes to dating and networking. Here’s what she has to say about achieving success:

“The only failure is not trying. Trying and having it not work isn’t failure.

You have to start somewhere. Historically, a lot of women have been discouraged to just go for it. We’ve been riddled with fear, and the ‘what ifs,’ and the ‘don’t be too out there,’ ‘be demure, be quiet.’ But start somewhere and go for it.”
