The Rule Of Thumb Every Married Couple Should Know

There’s a key rule of thumb that all married couples should know.

If at least one spouse is expected to live past age 80, the couple will be better off and reap the maximum in lifetime benefits, if the higher earning spouse delays collecting Social Security until age 70.
