Animal Lovers Achieve A Pet-Friendly “First” In Palm Beach County

There may be a silver lining to the “stay-at-home” directives in South Florida.

Members of the community turned out in droves to foster or adopt needy pets from local shelters, so they could share some together-time with a loving pet companion at home.

For the first time ever, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control has completely emptied one of its three dog kennels!

The kennel wants to keep the momentum going, even after the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

Interested in fostering? Here’s what the shelter has to say:

“We still have dogs available for adoption or foster in our main kennel, along with a few adoptable cats, two adoptable horses, and Charlotte the adoptable pig. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, please visit our website to view our available pets and submit an application online:”
