Impact 100: Making An Impact In Our Community

I’m so proud to be a supporter of Impact 100 Palm Beach County for over 8 years. Impact 100 has helped support deserving projects in my community by harnessing the giving power of hundreds of local women.

Impact 100 Palm Beach County connects women together to improve our community by funding multiple $100,000 high-impact grants to nonprofits in southern Palm Beach County.

For the past two years, I’ve served on the grants review committee, getting to know local non-profits and presenting the best projects to our membership for the final vote.

Our group is the second largest Impact chapter in the world, and has gifted over $4,500,000 in grants to outstanding local nonprofit groups.

The group funded six $100,000 grants last year. That’s a total of $600,000 in only one year! And each year – as our chapter attracts new members – we are able to support even more local projects.

Here are highlights from just three of the cool programs funded last year in 2021:

  • Tri-County Animal Rescue, offering low cost veterinary services and a free food bank helping low-income families and their pets to stay together.
  • Sandoway Marine Park/Coastal Conservation Association of PBC, replacing displaced marine life and revitalizing the coral community by deploying a steel vessel on the ocean floor to create a new habitat.
  • Boys and Girls Club, working with estranged fathers and their children to rebuild relationships and improve co-parenting skills.

Our goal is to attract new members each year so we can fund more projects. Are you interested in learning more or becoming a member? I’m happy to talk about my experience with Impact 100 and what I’ve learned about our community. Just give me a call or please visit the Impact 100 website at impact100pbc.org!
